Togolese plastic photographer Tessilim Adjayi explores memory, identity, and cultural heritage through photography, video, collage, and symbolic material assemblage . His black-and-white work, often enriched with ancient coins or objects, transforms each piece into a memory-object , at the intersection of documentation and plastic creation.
Exhibited worldwide from India to South Africa he questions cultural transmission, the fragility of traditions, and the traces of time on African societies. His practice combines poetry, social engagement, and contemporary aesthetics , turning images into universal and deeply human narratives.
